My English is Beautiful
My English is beautiful.
My English is still small.
Sometimes some words are missing
So my stories are not tall.
My English is beautiful.
My English is still new.
Sometimes my verbs are crazy
So my words do not sound true.
My English is beautiful.
My English is still shy.
Sometimes my thoughts are slow
So please listen when I try.
My English is beautiful.
My English is still small.
Sometimes I need help from you
So thank you, one and all.

This poem is not in alphabetical order. It's first because I want to say no matter how much English you know now, your English is beautiful right now. I wrote this poem for shy students who often told me, "Teacher my English is no good."
We communicate in English all around the world these days. Maybe you use English for international business, or maybe you use English in a new country as an immigrant or as a refugee. Some of us know a few words and some of us know many words. With a little care, attention, and patience we can understand each other more and more.
Let's enjoy learning, be patient with each other, and learn about our beautiful world. Read this poem aloud and feel more and more confident about yourself and each other.
